Join Ripon Choral Society for an inspiring day of music-making as we explore and perform John Rutter’s Requiem.

John Rutter’s Requiem is one of the most cherished works in the modern choral repertoire. Combining the traditional Latin Requiem text with English psalms and prayers, it offers music of great beauty, comfort and emotional depth. From the soaring melodies of Pie Jesu to the radiant optimism of The Lord is My Shepherd, it is a rewarding and enjoyable work for singers of all abilities.

The day will culminate in an informal performance, giving participants the chance to share the music they have prepared with family, friends and fellow music lovers.
