Autumn concerts 2014-18

We are dedicating these concerts to a commemoration of World War One.

Ripon Camp was a main centre for troops being sent to the Front. Wilfrid Owen, whose poems feature in 2 of these concerts, stayed briefly at Ripon Army Camp in March 1918.

Join us as we launch our brand new season with Howard Goodall's requiem 'Eternal Light' and Vaughan Williams' 'Dona nobis pacem'. While both works explore the pain of grief, they leave one hopeful of a better world to come.
